Stacey Copeland

November 22, 1962 ~ October 02, 2023

I will take a few moments to voice my life. See, I'm a God-fearing, Jesus-loving woman of Integrity and grace and a loving mother. Welcome to my life. Truthfully, it isn't a theatrical story to be told, although I was part of a drama and acting production while in school; more about that later. I am a Christian Woman, Mother, Sister, and Friend. If you don't know the Lord Jesus Christ for yourself, it's not too late. "Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the spirit." Galatians 5:25. My baptism occurred at Jackson Memorial AMEZion Church in Hempstead, NY. "Happy is she who believed that the Lord would fulfill his promise to her" Luke 1:45.

In the late fall of 1962 in Hempstead, NY, I was born to Edward B. & Janie Reed Copeland. I came from a Christian home. When my parents were anticipating my birth in those days, they didn't have the technology to predict the birth of the child. Therefore, our entire family gathered and prayed for a healthy baby. That healthy baby was me, born on the 22nd day of November. I was the oldest of four daughters born to this union. My younger sisters are Andrea, Janique, and Terri, who completed our family.  I received my primary education at Nassau Lutheran Elementary School in Long Island, New York and continued to Holy Trinity High School. As I mentioned before, I was part of the drama club, where I was in several productions. Still, my extracurricular activities did not end there. I was on the volleyball team, where I could exercise my athletic abilities. Later, I pursued a bachelor's degree in science-computer programming from Iona College.

Upon graduating from college, I went to work for Readers Digest in Pleasantville, NY. However, I found more passion in serving others. Over the years, I worked as an Amway representative, mobile notary public and consulted with many companies in Denver, CO, Charlotte, NC & Staten Island, NY.

I fell in love and got married to Carlton Robinson. Even though the marriage didn't last forever, our time together will live in eternity through our daughter Niya Janie Robinson. Gospel artist Yolanda Adams said it best. "Cause you're my little darling girl, don't you know you changed my world? You're my little doll, so sweet, you nearly knock me off my feet. You're my little darling child. Seeing you makes me smile God bless the day He sent my little angel to me."

I enjoy nothing better than worshipping God and praising his holy name. Using the gift he gave me; I could perform with the Seasoned Saints at Restoration Fellowship Church. My favorite music was gospel, with my absolute favorite artists being Tasha Cobb, Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp & LeAndria Johnson. I enjoyed 90s R&B and Jazz. I could get down making Macaroni and cheese (like Mommie) however, my favorite meal was 5 Guys Burgers & Fries!! I was thrifty, frugal, and knew how to stretch a dollar. I love shopping (particularly thrifting), traveling, and being out and enjoying nature.

Dear family and friends, if you're reading this, I crossed over that majestic river, and once again, I am safe in the bosom of our Lord. I am reunited with the loved ones that preceded me my Father Edward B. Copeland & Mother Janie Reed Copeland Liotta.

I know my life will reverberate and the lives of those I treasure and love and who cherish my memories. My baby girl and only daughter Niya Janie Robinson, bonus son Timmy Robinson; sisters Andrea Copeland Lewis (Nick) their children Nickles Lewis, Jerry Young, Katherine & Kristoffer Lewis; Janique Copeland Curry (William/Jay) their children Aaron Groover, Jaquan & Jaylin Curry, Terri Copeland Schneider (Kenneth), her children Tiffany Schneider-Abera, Reed Copeland & Immanuel Schneider. A host of the family from Denver, CO (Copeland's, Bonner's, Nambe's); Charleston, SC (Heyward's, Rose's), from Long Island (Bethea's, Lopez's, Jackson Memorial Church Family) & close associates from Denver CO, Charlotte, NC, and Staten Island.

Loved ones, I am letting you know I have moved for the last time. The other day, I received a call from God telling me my new home was ready. I moved in on October 02, 2023. I had been praying, trying to prepare because I knew GOD would call. Still, some final touches were needed. Now they are finished; it is such a beautiful home. It's in this exclusive neighborhood, enclosed by Pearly Gates, and the streets are paved with gold. Everyone is saying hey, hey, and never goodbye. I have visited many places, but none can compare. There is so much joy, happiness, and peace here. All the pain I was in, I don't feel it anymore. Now, I can go on and on about my new home; hopefully, you will see it one day. Well, let me go and put on my robe made just for me.

Oh! Let me give you my new address!
