Sarah Lee Oliver whose journey began on February 21, 1951, in Mobile, Alabama. To Jessie P Oliver and Clarrie Oliver. Sarah came to Colorado as a child. She then attended Denver Public School for her education. Years later Sarah gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and named her Paula.

Sarah had begun her career as a housekeeper at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Where she retired after 30 years. She laid the foundation for spirited personality in the workplace. She was an amazing cook. She was well known for her greens, chili, pinto beans, tripe, mac and cheese and her potato salad.

Sarah was the favorite Auntie.  She was devoted to gatherings. She was always ready to eat, play spades, domino's and talk smack. She never missed a family Holiday, cook out or anything to do with food. Sarah found intense joy spending time with her family, especially her great niece Francine and her children. Also hanging out with her very good friends Ms. Clo and Ms. Liz.

Through it all Sarah deeply loved her daughter Paula and her grandchildren. Thomas, Erica and Indonesia. They were the best thing in her life.

Sarah Lee Oliver is preceded in death by her parents Jessie P. Oliver and Clarrie Oliver; her brothers Lemon Oliver, Donald Oliver and Jessie P Oliver Jr.; her sisters, Annie Bell Oliver, Bessie Rae Oliver, Willie Mae Smith, Anita Oliver, and Mary Roundtree, Her grandson, Randy Dontae Phillips and her nieces Rose Mary Oliver and Juanita Smith.

On January 16, 2025 Sarah was called home to glory leaving behind her daughter Paula Whittington, Her Grandchildren Thomas Dwayne Oliver, Erica Sharee Walker and Indonesia Natashana Jackson; 7 Great- Grandkids, Her Nieces Francine Matthews(Colorado Springs, CO), Mary Ann Oliver( Los Angeles, CA), Sarah Ann Oliver (Riverside, CA) and Kathleen Jones( Aurora, CO), and a multitude of Relatives and Friends.
