Joseph Jerome
Eggleston Jr.
May 11, 2024 – December 26, 2024
Joseph Jerome Eggleston Jr. was delivered to this world by the hands of his father, Joseph Jerome Eggleston Sr., on May 11, 2024, and gifted to his mother, Tajane Anderson, at 11:31am. Tragically, his rest began suddenly on December 26, 2024, at the tender age of 7 months.
"Poopys," "Baby Joe," "DaDa," "Poopyman," and more recently, "TT's Poo Poo," was the brightest light in any room and was a beautiful, loving, and smarter babies you would ever meet. He had a perfect smile; a big heart and he made everyone he met fall in love with him instantly with his charming personality. He was like a "grown man" because he was so strong and an often said to be a genius because he talked to you and sometimes told you what to do. Most babies loved watching kid shows, but Baby Joe enjoyed binge watching My 600-pound life with his "NaNa" Rebecca Romero while he made her hold his pacifier for hours at a time. He had 4 sisters Jah'Miya-Marie, Ne'Lani, Nova, and Noa who used to have a hard time deciding who was going to get Baby Joe, and every time they were away from him and a phone call is received, they don't ask for Mom or Dad, they ask for him and he didn't hesitate to converse. His mom's curly hair was his favorite thing to pull, and his dad's hair was his favorite thing to hang from. Usually, little boys are known for being a "mama's boy," but Joseph was a "daddy's boy." Nothing topped the undeniable obsession and love for his father, Joseph Sr. His father couldn't walk in a room and not get spotted by him. No matter who he was with, having fun, eating or playing, he would immediately scream, kick and use the enormous hands he had to beat the floor until he got his way, or his TT Maree would go to the world's end to tend to him
Joseph Jr. spent time in Kansas City for the month of December with his dad's sisters, brother, cousins, family and friends. If you met him, you loved him, and it wasn't a person he didn't touch. Even the family that never got to meet him adored him. No matter the person, he gave you unconditional love. He became a Bengals fan with his Uncle Doc, he was a fashion statement with his TT Maree, and he was raised by the two most loving and devoted parents a person could ask for. The love they gave him showed in so many ways because of his beautiful and wonderful personality. His presence was so angelic and pure that he made the world around not even exist because the world was now him. He lives on through the memories and moments of everyone who knew him.
Joseph Jerome Eggleston Jr. is survived by his loving parents Tajane Anderson and Joseph Jerome Eggleston Sr.; 5 amazing siblings, Jah'Miya-Marie Eggleston (13), Nuri Sumling (9), Ne'Lani Gill (8), Nova Gill (4), and Noa Gill (2).; His "Nana," Rebecca Romero; His "TTs," Maree Harper (Milton), Christel McMackin (Eric), Jayla Armstrong, and a plethora of aunts, uncles, godparents, cousins and extended family and friends who will always love him.
Baby Joe was preceded in death this year by his grandmother Verlean Greene, and his Uncle Miles Milton Harper who he joined this year in passing.
