James
Simon
November 22, 1954 – January 5, 2021
The Life of Mr. James Simon
Steadfast, earnest, devoted are a few words to describe Mr. James Simon. As he went about his daily mission. Focused on sanitizing patient rooms and all areas in a hospital at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. James' position is the primary defense against serious infections that may linger on surfaces throughout a medical facility. James was humorless in seeing to it that all who entered would be safe.
It was Monday. Louise was cleaning the house as Dorothy, Mary, Willa, John, and Katherine were anxiously observing their Mother in a state of disquiet. These were all signs that Louise was in labor.
As Louise calmed down, she went to the hospital, where on November 22, 1954, she gives birth to her sixth child and second son that she named James.
James was a precocious child and quiet at the same time scrutinizing events around him.
At a young age, James found Jesus and give his life to the lord. Being baptized at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church by the late Pastor Miles.
Educated in Denver Public Schools attends Mitchell Elementary, Cole Junior High, and Manual High School, where he graduated from.
James loves to use his hands. Seeing the results immediately and having a propensity for hospitals, James went into environmental services as a career. Loving his job, he put himself at risk to provide a hygienic and safe atmosphere for others.
James fathered three sons and had a passion for the church, jazz, gospel, and R&B music.
Mr. James passed over the Jordan River Saturday, January 02, 2021, entering a new bright unsoiled everlasting life.
On the other side was his Mother Louise waiting on her son.
While still, his legacy will be reflected in the lives of his siblings Dorothy Spears, Mary Newbies, Willa Bee Simon-Shaw, John Simon, and Katherine Simon. With a congregation of nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.
