Denise Ann McClain Phillips
Denise was born on February 8, 1958, in Denver, Colorado born to Mayrean Haley and Bobby McClain. She was the 2nd oldest born out of seven children and did not take this position lightly. She was known as the OG and Mama. As a young woman Denise was known for sewing clothing and caring for her younger siblings.

Denise received her childhood education through Denver Public School. Where she graduated from Manuel High School. She worked and enjoyed being an administrator. Which gave her the ability to provide top tier customer service. She loved helping and assisting others. Niecy would prepare amazing Sunday dinners bringing all of her family together. She loved Karaoke, Dancing (Dropping it like it's hot), and so many different genres of music.

Niecy was a woman of faith, who prayed and served the Lord. July 6, 1982, she married the love of her life. Lonnie Phillips. When you see him, you see her. 44+ years of marriage they were inseparable. They love dancing together, going to Lakeside and enjoying each other's company. Lonnie will miss his soulmate.

Denise Ann McClain passed on December 4, 2025, In Wheat-ridge, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mayrean Haley and Bobby McClain, her mother- In- law Gracie Chapman, and many more family members who met her at the gate.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Lonnie L. Phillips; her son, Kareem L. Anderson; her grandson, Kareem L. Anderson Jr, her siblings; Clint McClain, Roshawn McClain, Regina Haley, Kenneece Haley, Tasha Haley, Play Haley, Lydia Haley, and host of nieces, nephews, more family and many friends.
