Tommie Lee Jones Sr. born March 8, 1941, in Brownsville, Tennessee to Sadie B Buyers and Willie Buyers. He grew up surrounded by 6 brothers and 3 sisters. He made it to the 8th grade where he then started his own journey through life.

In his younger years Tommie was a very adventurous traveler. He became the father to 15 boys and 2 girls. Nothing compared to his love for Colorado where he met and married Alberta Matthews. To this union Tommie Lee Jones Jr. was born. He loved each and everyone of his children with everything he had. Nothing will ever compare to his love.

Tommie Sr. worked as a parking lot attendant for 15 years with All Right Parking. He loved playing domino's, blues music, watching the Colorado Rockies, watching his westerns and spending time with his grandchildren. Let's not forget his jokes. Whether he knew you or not he would make you laugh.

For many years Tommie spent Mondays, Wednesday and Friday at dialysis. He hated the thought of going but he made many friends during his treatments. They will miss his bubbly personality, his jokes and his crazy stories.

Tommie Lee Jones Sr. departed this side of heaven on December 20, 2025.

Leaving those to cherish in his memory, his wife, his children, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of other family and close friends.
