Sylvanna Jolynn
Solano
July 8, 1980 – January 20, 2024
Sylvanna Jolynn Solano was born July 8, 1980, to Mercedes Gonzalez and David Flores Chavez. Sylvanna received her education through Denver Public Schools where she graduated from North High School. After starting her young life, Sylvanna was blessed with 7 children. Sylvanna loved her seven children, Avangelina, Sonia, Sylvia, Gahlia, Jazmine, Santos, and Santana. Having a family to take care of, Sylvanna attended Everest College of Aurora, receiving her degree to be a licensed caretaker.
She was proud of and greatly loved not only her children but also her grandchildren, Raphael and Donatello. They all brought her great joy and she loved taking care of each one and dreamed of having everyone together, under one roof, in her own house.
Sylvanna loved to journal, read, draw, color, go on long scenic drives, and listen to music. She was also a social butterfly and could make anyone smile as soon she talked to them. She loved shopping and had so many nice clothes and shoes. She was an independent lady and made a lot of good, big, changes in her life to be the best person she could be.
She supported the Broncos and celebrated when the Nuggets won their first championship. Her family in San Diego and Las Vegas were her favorite places to visit, but if she had the chance to travel, she would go. A very free spirit who loved to care for others, Sylvanna was hilarious, and there's a big possibility that all of her children got their humor from her.
Sylvanna departed this side of Heaven on January 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, who was also her best friend, David Flores Chavez.
Leaving to cherish her memory are her mother, Mercedes P. Gonzalez; children, Avangelina Martinez, Sonia Martinez, Sylvia Vera, Gahlia Vera, Jazmine Vera, Santos Vera, and Santana Vera; grandchildren, Raphael Martinez and Donatella Martinez; sister, Dionne Solano; and brother, Milo Solano.
