A Father's Love!

March 18, 1966 ~ September 27, 2021

It's mid-day, and the sun has settled in the sky like many other days. Rudy and his three princesses Mariah, "Riah," Selina, "Beaner," and Anecia "Nici" are walking to Lumberg Elementary School not too far from their home. Once they arrive, the fun begins.  The four of them, a Father and his girls have fun playing Basketball, Football, and Handball. Rudy would push each of them on the swings and chase them through the playground. When playing Handball, as soon as he would score, he said, "one ZERO remember five is a shutout." Come winter, the four of them would track through the snow to sled at parks

No matter the weather, they were always together.

It was Friday, March 18, 1966, the snowiest month in Denver, Colorado, also the 77th day of the year. Two hundred eighty-eight days were remaining until the end of the year. Carol Perez gives birth to her first child, Rudolph Joe Martinez, lovingly known as Rudy. Rudy was born into a family where love was paramount. Working hard was the standard as the eldest Rudy would assist his mother, Carol, with the chores and his three younger brothers, Jose, Joaquin and Louise.

Rudy was educated in Denver Public Schools; Rudy wasted no time going to work once he finished. Rudy obtained his Commercial Driver's License and started driving for RTD the ADA busses. He met the lady of his life Melissa Hernandez, and together they built a family with their three daughters' "Riah," "Beaner," and "Nici."  With the desire to be a good example, Rudy worked to support his family. After leaving RTD, Rudy became an Auto Detailer working for different Dealerships in the Denver Metro area.

He also became a landscaper, painter, and a Jack of all Trades, forming his own business.

On any given day, you could find Rudy riding his bicycle peddling his way from point "A" to point "B."

Upon his middle child "Beaner" marring the love of her life, Jalen Rodriguez, Rudy found he was to be a grandpa, oh what a joy a new baby for dotting over. He would play with Jaylina bouncing her on his lap and playing picky-boo- I see you. Jaylina loved to scare her grandpa, and Rudy would always act surprised.

Rudy wasn't a religious man; however, he was a spiritual one.

It was Monday, September 27, 2021; it was a hot day in Denver; with a high temperature of 88°, Rudy took a mystical ride on his bike to the other side of life. There to meet him was his mother, Carol Perez, and younger brother Jose.

Rudy's life will echo though-out entirety in the lives of his children Mariah, "Riah," Martinez Selina, "Beaner," Rodriguez (Jalen), and Anecia "Nici" Martinez. His granddaughter Jaylina Rodriguez and his brother Louise and Joaquin. Plus a host of relatives and friends.

"You can never love someone as much as you will miss them."
