Rochester is a family man with the tenacity to take care of his family. Rochester was a man of his word and cherished every day that he lived. Putting family first was part of his DNA, knowing that there's nothing more important than the family and that being part of a family unit meant that you never would be without love, friendship or understanding.

Born in the summer of 1965 in Hughes, Arkansas, five days after the United States Celebrated Independence Day on July 9. Much to the delight of his parents, Rochester senior and Lucinda Jones. Rochester Junior would pave his own way through life and find his own independence.

Rochester was the oldest having a younger sister Katherine Powell Williams.

Educated, Hughes and graduating from Lee Senior High School Rochester would meet the love of his life, Ms. Sharon Winston. Together they would build a family and live any business, which would be the legacy of love that Rochester Jones junior would leave for all to remember.

Five children were born into this union Tanisha Lucretia Darthula, Joseph, and Marika Jones to their marriage.

Rochester worked as a mechanic with his father before taking the leap of faith and starting his own business Jones Janitorial Services.

Rochester knew how to have fun as well. He loved taking his family to the beach, going to California, and relishing Mission beach. In his pastime, Rochester liked watching basketball and football; with the Broncos being his favorite team, he adored horse racing.  Soul food was his favorite cuisine, Rap R&B, and hip hop was his favorite music.

Rochester's beloved mother, Lucinda Jones, preceded him in death. Rochester passed from this world on May 15, 2022, leaving a heritage of love.

Those to mourn Rochester are his wife, Sharon Winston. His children Tanisha Jones, Lucretia Jones, Darthula Jones (Victor Robles Perez) Joseph Jones (Jacque Jones) Marika Jones (Alfredo Luis Santibanez). His father, Rochester (Chester) Jones Sr. His sister Katherine Powell Williams. Grandchildren, Kristyana Jones, Neviah Robles-Jones, Natasha Robles-Jones, Alejandro Arellano-Jones, Kaylene Allmer Isabella Jones, Isaiah Jones, Ilijah Jones, and Imari Jones. Plus, a host of other family and friends.
