Robert Earl
Sharp Iii
April 16, 2003 – May 12, 2025
Robert Earl Sharp III, affectionately known as "R.J." and lovingly nicknamed "Man" by his grandfather Anthony Evans, was born on April 16, 2003, in Denver, Colorado, to Juanita Holman and Robert Earl Sharp Jr. He passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 22.
R.J. was an energetic and resilient soul with a deep love for his family, music, and video games. A proud graduate of the Class of 2022, R.J. faced many challenges in life, but he never stopped pushing forward. His strength and determination were a testament to his will to overcome.
In 2023, RJ became a father to his beloved daughter, Zyani Lashae Lee Sharp. Nothing brought him more joy than talking about his baby girl. He was fiercely protective of her and often said, "I learned from others around me, and I will never leave my daughter. I will always be here." His love for Zyani was boundless, and fatherhood became his proudest role.
Music was R.J.'s heartbeat. A gifted writer, producer, and performer, his talent was undeniable and his passion immeasurable. Music wasn't just something he did—it was who he was. Destined for greatness, his creativity left a mark on everyone who heard him.
Even from a young age, R.J. stood out. He could count before he could talk, and once dreamed of becoming an architect thanks to his early love for math. Though young in years, R. J. had the soul of an old man—wise beyond his age, often reflective, and deeply aware.
R.J. is survived by his daughter Zyani Sharp; his mother Juanita Holman; his father Robert Earl Sharp Jr.; his great-grandmother Ella Hysaw, two grandmothers; Gail Evans, Shelia Brown, siblings; Robert Earl Sharp, Jr., Ariel Fair, and Ky'Aun Holman, Madame Rovetta Sharp, Khalilah Sharp, Mizeeauna Sharp, Na'She Sharp, Zarie Sharp and a host of loving family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, music, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
His light continues to shine in every beat of his music, in the eyes of his daughter, and in the hearts of all who loved him.
