Mr. Raquel Andres` "Andy' Salazar was born September 21, 1952, to Pedro and Corelia Salazar in Antonito, CO. He grew up with two siblings. Larry and Dorothy. After Graduating from Antonito High School in 1971, Andy became Certified as an Operating Engineer with Local #9. He was dedicated to his many jobs. He worked as a Rancher, Photographer, Retail employee, his own lawn service (United Lawns) and the Colorado Plastic Card Incorporated. Andy was a part of the building crew of the Strontia Springs Dam, When the job was completed, he was awarded a beautiful belt buckle for his hard work and service.

Andy was the most amazing husband to Bonnie Salazar. They met in 1983 and married in 1992. Living life as one they soon welcomed their only son Drew (Raquel) in 1998.
