You hear that, Elizabeth? I'm coming to join you, honey! In this case, Elizabeth is the late Rosemarie Washington, mother of Michael "TooToo" Washington. If you knew TooToo, you must have watched at least one episode of Sanford and Son and loved it because he wouldn't have it any other way!

Today we come in honor of Michael, born June 22, 1967, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to his mother, Rosemarie Washington, and father, Fred Severin. Together they birthed a masterpiece, a kind heart, full of swearing words, but helpful and compassionate to everyone around him. His kind spirit, open heart, and swearing of a sailor directly reflected his guardian, the late Nancy "Mimekie" Washington.

In 1985, Michael moved to Denver, Colorado, with his soon-to-be wife, Patricia. Michael built his life in Colorado with his wife, daughters, and son. Having come from the small town of Natchitoches, he was committed to ensuring his family had everything they needed to succeed and build wealth and family. The top of Michael's priority list is FAMILY and memories. He was a family man, a leader, an entrepreneur, servant, and his highest ranking was being a FATHER! Having named all his children, he could never get their names right, "Kisha, Tisha, Quisha, girl, you know who I'm talking to," yet they always knew which one was to go to him.

D.M.X., N.W.A., Pokey Bear, Tucka, Al Greene, Lil Boosie, and Guy are all perfect examples of Michael's personality. From Afro's to gericurls and Travis Scott braids, Michael always led at his pace and did what he wanted unless his wife objected. Michael was content with whatever made him comfortable and not with the trends. He would buy Shaq's, and his wife would take them back and buy him Jordan's. Michael would buy faded glory jeans; his wife would hide them and buy Levi's. It was a constant tug-of-war with them until finally Patricia gave up and let him wear his oversized t-shirts, sweatpants, and slippers wherever he wanted.

Michael, forever in our hearts and spirit. We wish you peace and rest.

We can never LOVE someone as much as we will miss them.
