Howard Henry Hughes III
November 19, 1970, ~ June 02, 2024
Strength, Tenacity, Forbearance, Visionary, Entrepreneur, and Determination. The best ways to describe a husband, father, son,
grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Affectionately known as Stinka and Blaq.
Mr. Howard Henry Hughes III.
Born in Denison, TX, sixty miles north of I-75 from Dallas, TX, a small farming community where Howard was the first child born to
Howard Hughes Jr. and Juanita Hughes. (preceded in death) Juanita was Howard's rock and provided unconditional love and balance,
and they shared an unspoken bond.
As the older brother to Michael, Harold, and Benjamin, and bonus sisters Cassandra and Adrianna. Howard set the example of hard
work, perseverance, and self-recognition that he saw from his own parents and his bonus mother, Angela.
He attended the public school system, where he was an athlete. He played all sports but had a love for football.
The family moved to Colorado in the 1990s, yet Howard's love for Texas and Texas sports never died. He loved his high school, the
Denison Yellow Jackets, Texas A&M Aggies, and, of course, the Dallas Cowboys.
He met his Queen Bernita Small, recognizing that he could never be a proper King without his Queen, and the two of them had each
other's back through thick and thin, ups and downs, and always and forever. They built a family for
twenty-four years, and their undying love was so powerful they exchanged vows in May 2024. Howard fathered seven children.
Kasaundra, Rakira (preceded in death) Kaelen, Lisa, LeeAnn, Desmond, and Deiondre. They are his legacy of love. This heritage
continues to grow with his beautiful grandchildren Jaliyah, Jaylen, Malaysia, Khalil, and Lyric.
The love Howard had for his grand pups, Stoney and Frankie will certainly not be forgotten.
Howard believed in the words in the Bible that say, "A wise man leaves an inheritance for his children and his children's, children."
Proverbs 13:22. Therefore, in 2009, Howard Hughes Hood Cleaning was established. For 15 years, he built a commercial restaurant
hood cleaning (kitchen exhaust cleaning) company, and Howard supported his family through this firm. Now, his son will continue to
grow from Howard's foundation. Howard was the example for all to follow, realizing there was always something to do, Howard
wasn't one to stand idle; rather it was with Howard Hughes Hood Cleaning, or positions he held in the past.
Howard was not all business. He knew how to have fun. Howard enjoyed movies, music, and sports, from pickup basketball games to
flag football and the annual Turkey Bowl football game. Moreover, what Howard treasured most was his family. Howard attended all
his children's school sporting events and activities, spent countless hours on the phone, and visited, giving guided advice, wanted or
not. He celebrated when you won and told you when you were messing up.
A man of his word, strength, listening ear, and love.
Howard loved his entire family: his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, and countless friends.
Still, Howard had unique relationships with several of his cousins, who were much more like brothers and sisters.
Howard Henry Hughes III (Stinka and Blaq ) transitioned from this realm on Sunday, June 02, 2024. 'We can never LOVE someone as much as we will Miss them.'
The legacy of Howard Hughes the Third will reverberate through the lives of the ones he LOVED and the ones who LOVED Howard.
Wife Bernita Small-Hughes. Howard's children Kasaundra (Tyrell) Baker, Kaelen Baker, Lisa Hughes, LeeAnn Hughes Desmond, and
Deiondre Hughes. His father, Howard Hughes Jr., Angela Hughes, Brother's Michael, Harold, and Benjamin Hughes, sisters
Cassandra Harris, and Adrianna Howell, and Grandchildren Jaliyah and Jaylen Baker, Malaysia Arbab, Khalil Baker, and Lyric Arbab,
and his grand-pups Stoney and Frankie. Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, numerous cousins, and countless friends.
"A Million Times"
A million times we'll miss you, A million times we'll cry.
If LOVE alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life, we LOVED you dearly; in death, we LOVE you still.
In our Hearts, you hold a place no one can ever fill.
It broke our Hearts to lose you, yet you didn't die alone.
For a part of us went with you the day GOD called you home!
