George W Martin Jr.
Born June 17,1934 to George and Mable Martin. George was the oldest of four siblings.

George was born in the Mississippi Delta in Indianola MS. The family moved to Water Valley Mississippi. He attended Davison High School and went on to South Western Christian College in Terrell Texas. He was an inspiring preacher for most of his life. George held jobs from steel worker to Western Bell where he retired.
He married Ella Mae Mingo in 1959. To this union Tina Rene' Martin (Nisa'a Abdullah) and Lisa Kaye Martin ( deceased ) were born. He later married Elizabeth Zamora in 1994. With whom he was married until his passing. Ray Z.Martin Elizabeth's son was an integral part of his life.
George was energetic, gregarious and always cheerful.  He had a huge smile and loved to laugh. His health begin to fail and he was called home on March 8, 2021. He leaves two granddaughters and two great granddaughters. George's sprit will be missed.
