Franchon Tremell
Brown
July 10, 1972 – August 7, 2024
The sun rose on the life of Ms. Franchon Tremell Brown on July 10, 1972 in Denver, Colorado when she was born to her parents William O. Brown, Sr. and Rosemary Brown. She was affectionately referred to as "Fran or Frannie" by her family and friends. Fran was an active young person with an inquisitive mind. She had a zest for shopping and all things fashionable, hair, make-up, nails, shoes, etc. Fran also loved to cook and bake. At a young age, she learned to cook from her grandmother, Pauline Brown. If her grandmother could cook it, then Fran knew how to cook it also. They both were Southern cooks. As the saying goes, "she put her foot in it", and that was Fran. She would watch the cooking channels to get some new cooking ideas and recipes, then try them out and share the dishes.
Fran received her formal education in the Denver Public School system. She graduated from East High School in 1990. She attended Metro State College and received an Associate's Degree. Fran worked at Denver Health Hospital for 15 years as a dedicated, dependable and loyal employee.
Franchon accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was baptized at Rising Star Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado where she attended for many years.Children took to Fran and they loved to be around her. Her young nieces, nephews and cousins were always with her and she would babysit for many kids as they were growing up.
The sun set on the life of Ms. Franchon Tremell Brown on August 7, 2024 when the Lord called her home to eternal rest. Her mother, father, grandparents and uncle Jesse L. Brown, Jr., precede her in death.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother and best friend, William O. Brown, Jr.; sister, Rachel Brown-Spencer (Clark); uncle, Papa Brown, Sr.; aunts, Ella Mae Falls, Irma Jean McRae and Bea Williams; nieces, Nita Rawson, Dominique Newton (Joseph); nephews, Ivan Cook, Matthew Spencer; great-nephew, Langston Newton and a host of cousins and loyal friends.
