Dierdra
Napue
January 20, 1964 – January 22, 2021
Dierdra Janette Napue was born January 20, 1964 to Virgil and Louise Napue She was the
baby know as Sister, she was spoiled and Loved from day one. She had Three sisters Anna
Jean, Phyllis, and Terri, one brother Anthony. Dierdra attended Denver Public Schools, Smith
and Montclair Elementary, Hamilton Jr. High and George Washington High School. Dierdra
loved doing hair like her Mom so she also attended Manual Hight Schools Cosmetology
Program. Dierdra meet her first Love Gregory Goodloe from that union her only daughter
Deanna Louise was born. A few years later Dierdra and Deanna moved to London, England.
During that time she meet and married her first Husband, Joshep Aneke, to this union her first
two sons were born, Terence Keith, and Sylvester Denzel. Dierdra Loved living in London, she
worked in a Beauty Salon. The customers would come in and ask for the "American Girl". The
owners loved her also and allowed her to Manage the Salon. After her divorce Dierdra and her
three children moved home to Denver, CO. Shortly after that Benjamin Gyimah whom Dierdra
had meet in London came to Denver and they married, her youngest son Devon Lavance was
born.Her pride and Joy was her children and Grandchildren.Deanna had her first grandson
Tevon whom she loved dearly, and he love his Grandma. Deanna had her second grandson,
DeAndrea he was with her most of his life, his Grandma was his everything. Then Deanna had
her first Granddaughter, Da'Naijaha she was the peach of her Grandmothers eye.Then Terence
son was born Lebryan he too stole her heart. Each and every one of them was Special to her.
She loved cooking for them, she could throw down on some Soul Food she could make Peach
Cobbler that was so Good! Every told her it was as good as her mother's. She also mastered
African Cuisine, her Kids loved he FuFu! Deanna's memory of her Mom is her beautiful Smile
and her warm heart, also her being her best friend and the best Mom she could ever have.
Terence most fond memory is when his Mom and Grandpa drove him to Hays,KS. To College
they Both cried like babies. Sylvester remembers calling his Mom Doonk Doonk and she
always always was there for him no matter what. Devon remember's when he was in college in
Hays,KS. He was at work he looked up and saw his grandpa's hat then there was his mother
and his brother Sylvester he was so surprised Dierdra changed her career, and started in the
Home Health Care Field. She received her CNA Licenses and was Med.Certified. She worked
for Dorothy Soft Touch, she loved caring for the residents and soon was made Manager over
the Facility. Diedra was the only one of her siblings Brave enough to move from Denver. Again
the desire to leave hit her, this time she moved to Savana, GA. Her Daughter Deanna joined her
there. After a few years there Diedra returned to Denver to help care for her Father. After the
death of her father, Diedra moved to Mesa, AZ. with her sons. Dierdra was planing a trip back
to Denver for her Brothers Memorial he passed on January 3,2021 from complications from
Covid-19, she was so looking forward to returning home for the Memorial, and to see Her
Mother, and her Grandson DeAndrea, but most of all to meet her new Twin Grandaughter's!!
They were born 11/27/20!! Diamond and Destiny she passed two days after her Fifty-seven
Birthday and one day before her trip home. She never got to meet them but we know she
carries them in heart in heaven.
Dierdra proceeds her Father Virgil Napue, and her Brother Anthony Napue in death.
Left to cherish her Memory's is her Mother Louise Napue, her Sisters Anna Jean Redmond,
Phyllis Felicia Bass, Terri Napue, all of Denver,CO. her Daughter Deanna Napue (Cory)
Lakewood,CO. Her Sons Terence Aneke (Alex) Queen Creek,AZ. Sylvester Aneke Mesa, AZ.
Devon Gyimah ( Kate) Phoenix, AZ.Her 6 Grandchildren many Nieces and Nephews, Aunts and
her very best friends since third grade Barbara Bristol-ODonald many other relatives and
friends.
