Curtis Paul Webber was born on March 27, 1955, in Taylor County, Georgia to his birth parents Leroy Troutman and Ruby Montgomery. He was raised by Floyd and Eva Webber. He also was raised surrounded by his brothers, Beaver, John Ray, Danny, Willie, Gerald, and his sisters Sharonette, Yvette, Jewell, Zina, and Annette.
Curtis retired from Cook County Sheriff's Department in Chicago after 30 years. His early years were spent in Chicago where he enjoyed playing little league baseball, football, and basketball. He graduated from South Miami Senior High School and enlisted in the Air Force shortly after graduating. He was always a hard worker and his very first job as a child was a paper boy. He was also active in the Boy Scouts and the 4H Club during his childhood.
Following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, he moved to Denver, where he met the love of his life, Jeanette Hurd, whom he later married. To this union, La'Mesha and Ta'Kesha were born. Curtis enjoyed watching sports, dancing, singing, and acting silly. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and have a good time.
He was preceded in death by his birth parents, Leroy Troutman and Ruby Montgomery, the parents who raised him, Eva and Floyd Webber, his brothers Beaver and Gerald, and his sister Annette.
Curtis P. Webber departed this life on November 13, 2023. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his death include his wife Jeanette, daughters La'Mesha and Ta'Kesha, 6 grandkids and several great-grandkids, and a host of relatives and friends.
