Arthur "Sunny" House Jr. was born September 29, 1952, in Temple, TX to the late Arthur and Louella House. He received most of his education through Denver Public Schools. He attended Dunbar High School in Temple, TX but graduated from East High School in Denver, CO.

At an early age Sunny, as everyone knew him, was baptized and became a member of the Church of Christ Church.

In 1983, Sunny was blessed with his only son Arthur Ray House III with his long-term love Vicki. Sunny worked hard. He held at least 2 jobs at a time. He worked at Optimum Battery, University Hospital, and National Jewish Hospital, where he retired after 12 years.

Sunny lived his life by the saying, "Every day is a good day to smile." His love for others gave him the ability to love everyone. He loved to laugh, joke, play around, and help people. He would even open his home to anyone in need.

He was a big Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys fan and also loved going to concerts.

Arthur House Jr. departed this side of Heaven on December 26, 2023. Proceeded in death by his mother Louella House, father Arthur House Sr., sister Oleta K. House, and brother Larry Johnson.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory are his only son Arthur "Ray" House III of Denver, CO; grand-kids, Rayla, Issac, and Ray House, all of Denver, CO;  sisters, Mary Mitchelle and Dorthy Warner both of Denver, CO; nieces Carol (Kirk) Cohen of North Carolina, Jennette Wesley of Denver, CO; nephew Joaquin Johnson of Denver, CO; special cousin Peter Johnson of Denver, CO; and many friends from the Park Hill Community.
