It is with heavy hearts and endless love, we celebrate the life of Anita Charlene Lett. Born on May 3,1966 to the parents of Johnson Lett and Lucy Loyal Lett. She is preceded in death by two sisters Tressa Lett (1970-1992), Deborah Lett (1967-2006), and her Dad Johnson Lett (1942-1992)..
Anita was born in Georgia at Rockdale County Hospital. The second oldest of seven girls. She graduated from Fulton High School in 1984,and from there she went on to further her education at Bryman School of Nursing. She joined The Church of Atlanta Lighthouse at an early age, where she sang in The Streams of Life Choir for many years. In 1998 she began a career with Kaiser Permanente. Then she eventually relocated to Denver, Colorado in 2015 to continue pursuing her career with Kaiser Permanente that spanned over 28 years.
Anita was a woman whose presence made the world softer, brighter, and more joyful. She lived with a warmth that wrapped around everyone she met, caring deeply and loving fiercely. Her playful spirit could lift any mood and her big-hearted energy made her unforgettable. She was a true embodiment of dedication, she worked hard in everything she did. Never afraid to roll up her sleeves, never hesitant to help someone who needed it. If she could give, she gave. If she could show up, she showed up. That was simply who she was. She carried a voice that felt heaven sent. The kind that could quiet a room or soothe a weary heart. She loved to dress and cook. Every outfit was a reflection of her creativity, confidence, and flair. In the kitchen, she was unmatched. Her cooking wasn’t just food; it was comfort, celebration, and love served on a plate. Anita transitioned peacefully on September 4, 2026. She leaves behind a loving family: Her mother Lucy Lett , four sisters Rebecca Lett, Nancy Gunn (Dexter Gunn), Felicia Lett, and Kirstie Lett. A host of nieces and nephews, a beautiful generation of great nieces and great nephews, cousins, relatives, and close friends. Those who knew her will forever remember her kindness, her humor, her style, and most of all her angelic voice.
Her life was a gift. Her love was a blessing, and her memory will remain a light that never dims! Her legacy of laughter, compassion, strength and beauty will live on forever.
